Templates for Grok Bot · tested, dated, honest

From raw idea
to tested bot.

My own bot templates. Each one ships with a public test card: what I ran, what happened, on which app version, and which skills made it through the import.

Method

How I test

Every bot page has a test card with the same four parts. Same format every time, so you can compare bots at a glance.

  1. 01

    One real task

I pick one concrete task the bot is meant to do and run it.

  2. 02

    A clear result

Worked, partly worked or failed, plus one line of evidence.

  3. 03

    Date and version

The test date, the app version and the platform I used.

  4. 04

    Import check

How many skills the preview showed and how many actually arrived.

Why the import check?

Since August 2026, users have reported that some skills shown in a template’s preview don’t arrive on the imported bot, and the import gives no warning (see the forum thread, confirmed by staff ↗). So every test card shows both numbers: skills in the preview and skills that arrived.

Tests expire after 30 days or when the template changes. Then the card says “stale” until I test it again.
